Mo Salah Reveals This Season Will Be His Last With Liverpool
After helping Liverpool achieve a landslide 3-0 victory over Manchester United, Mohamed Salah revealed that this will be his last season at Anfield.
The Egyptian has become the most prolific goalscorer against an Old Trafford side in Premier League history with seven goals. Mo Salah scored and provided two assists for Luis Diaz as Liverpool cruised to victory under new boss Arne Slot this season.
Man United were no match for their bitter rivals from start to finish and could have conceded more had Mo Salah and his teammates been able to finish off a few more chances towards the end of the match.
While the rest of Liverpool's players celebrated their resounding success, Mo Salah stole the show with his post-match statement.
"I had a good summer, a long time to be alone and think positively for a while, it's my last year with the club and I want to enjoy it," the 32-year-old told Sky Sports .
"I feel free to play football, we'll see what happens next year. Nobody at the club has spoken to me about the contract. It's not my business, it's the club's business," he said.
Regarding this, Arne Slot stated that he likes Mo Salah. "There are many possibilities, but at the moment he is one of us and I am very happy with him," said Slot.
"I don't talk about the contract. He was impressive, like the first two games," he continued.
